Problem: My phone has two problems. First, sometimes when I try to unlock the phone by pressing the home button or the lock key, the screen won’t light up but the buttons do and it takes a long time for the phone to finally light up. Second, the phones video player is very laggy. Whenever I try to try to videos, it lags and never plays smoothly.
Solution: This appears to be a software related problem. I suggest you first try to wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode. If the issue still persists then proceed with backing up your phone data then do a factory reset.
