A lot of people will agree that one of the issues that they don’t want to experience on their mobile device is if it turns off on its own. Note 4 Randomly Turns Off
Problem: Hello. My samsung galaxy was working fine this morning, but it randomly turned off and now when I try and turn it back on it will stay on for about 5 seconds and then shut down again. I have it on charge and have tried clearing the cache, rebooting it and taking the battery out and holding the power button for a minute.
Solution: Try connecting your phone to a wall charger and see if it randomly turns off. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by the battery which may not be providing the correct voltage to the phone. One way to remedy this is to replace the battery with a new one.
If your phone still randomly turns off even when  connected to its wall charger then the next step is to check if the phone software is causing the problem. Try starting your phone in recovery mode. This is a separate run time environment independent of the phone’s operating system. This means that if the problem does not occur while in this mode then the most likely culprit is the phone software. From here I recommend that you do a factory reset. Take note that this will delete your phone data so make sure to only do this if you have made a backup or if you don’t mind losing your phone data.
If the above troubleshooting steps fail then this could already be a hardware related problem. If this is the case then I suggest you bring your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked.
Note 4 Turns Off When Battery Reaches 30%
Problem: Some time after 5.0.1, my OEM battery dies suddenly when it reaches about 30%.  After months dealing with this, i bought a new Samsung battery (non-NFC) and while not as soon as 30%, it still dies suddenly.  In addition, the phone dies suddenly when the flash is used and the battery is somewhere under 50%.  Hope you can help with this and thanks!
Related Problem: Battery never lasts a whole day.  It gets to 30% after about 10 hours of use and then usually shuts down.
Solution: One of the main reasons why the phone just shuts down even with 30% battery life left is due to a bad battery. The phone may be registering that the battery still has some life left when in fact it is already empty. It’s also possible that the phone software could be causing this issue.
To troubleshoot this problem you will need to isolate the software related cause first. To do this just backup your phone data and do a factory reset. Once the reset is done do not install anything on your device yet. Charge your phone to its maximum level then check if the issue still occurs. If it does then it’s time to replace your phone battery.
Note 4 does Not Completely Charge
Problem: When  I charge my note 4 sometimes it works fine but on the other hand it stops at a certain percentage  like 75 percent. I’ve tried buying a new battery but I still see the problem reoccurring I’ve bought a new USB cord but it still occurs.  When I turn on the phone remove and replace the battery the phone would tell me 96 percent or that large of a value after being stuck on 75 for so long even hours.  I’m wondering what’s the problem.
Solution: The problem could be caused by some form of corrupt data in your phone. Try starting your phone in recovery mode then choose the wipe cache partition option. This will delete the temporary data in your phone. Restart your phone then check if the issue still occurs. If it does then I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
You should also consider calibrating your battery however this method will take a much longer time. To do this you need to use your phone until the battery life is 0% and the phone turns off on its own. While the phone is off charge it until it reaches 100%. Use it again until it fully drains then charge it again to 100%. Once this is done check if the issue still occur.
Note 4  Not Fast Charging After Software Update
Problem: Regarding the Note 4 charging issue.  My note 4 does not fast charge anymore using multiple different fast charging blocks and cables. I notice that this happened directly after a Verizon software update that was recently released
Solution: Try cleaning the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air or cotton bud dipped in alcohol. If this doesn’t work then it’s time to suspect the software update that could be causing this issue since you have already eliminated the charger and cable. I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete check if the phone fast charging feature works.
Note 4 Turns Off When Not Charging
Problem: Hey I have this problem with my note 4..it turned off suddenly if its not charging… i changed the battery twice and the same problem occurred
Solution: If the phone turns off if it isn’t charging then the usual suspect is the battery. However, in this case you already tried using two batteries. The next thing that you should do is to check if the phone software has anything to do with this issue. You will need to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete check if the issue still occurs. If it does then this could already be a hardware related problem. If this is the case then you should have your phone checked at an authorized service center.
Note 4 Does Not Turn On
Problem: The power won’t come on. When I plug in charger the battery sign just flash off and one. Not showing its charging
Solution: Try taking out the battery and microSD card then press and hold the power button for at least a minute. This will discharge the phone circuit and clear out the RAM. Reinsert just the battery then turn on your phone.
If the phone does not turn on then try using a new battery. Make sure to charge the phone with the new battery using the wall charger for at least 20 minutes before turning it on. If the problem still persists then I suggest you have your phone checked at an authorized service center as this could already be a hardware related issue.
