Samsung Galaxy S4 Does Not Switch On Or Charge
Problem: Hi, My samsung galaxy s4 does not switch on nor does it show that the device is charging. I’ve used several new batteries and new chargers the phone refuses to do anything. While on charge the processor does heat up and so does the battery
Solution: This issue could already be hardware related. You can however do some additional troubleshooting steps such as cleaning the phone charger port using a can of compressed air or cotton bud dipped in alcohol. Once this is done charge the phone for at least 20 minutes then try to turn it on.
You should also try to discharge your device. To do this just take out the battery and the microSD card. Press and hold the power button for at least a minute then reinsert just the battery. Check if you are able to turn on the phone.If the problem persists then I suggest you bring your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked.
