Samsung galaxy S4 Freeze On Boot Logo.
Problem: My phone freezes on the Samsung display after power on. I have removed the battery and replaced it and it still freezes. What can I do to start the phone normally and retrieve my contacts and photos?
Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? Try removing it as this may be causing the problem especially if this card is corrupt. Check if the issue still occurs.
If the problem still occurs then start your phone in recovery mode then wipe its cache partition. If you are unable to access the recovery mode then connect your phone to its wall charger then attempt to access the recovery mode again and wipe the cache partition of your phone.
If your phone still gets stuck in the Samsung logo then connect your device using a USB cord to a computer with Kies or Smart Switch running. Using this software you may be able to retrieve your photos and contacts.
